The Phantom of the Arts Fundraiser

How it works

Donate online, or write a check to Carnage Arts Boosters and send it in with your student. That's it. No catalogs, no door-to-door, no phone calls. (A small processing fee applies to online gifts.)

Where the money goes

You choose which arts area your gift supports, based on the programs your student takes. Typical needs include:

• Sheet music, scripts, and dance costumes
• Set-building supplies, canvases, and paint
• New instruments, repairs, and sound equipment
• Competition and festival fees

Why it matters

Arts teachers receive roughly $100 to cover supplies for all of their students for the entire year. Booster funding is what closes that gap.

How much should I give?

A helpful benchmark is $10–$15 per arts class, per quarter. A student in chorus all year plus two quarters of dance is six quarters of arts — about $60–$90. An average of roughly $50 per student funds our budget. Past gifts have ranged from $5 to $1,000, and every one of them helps. All donations are confidential.

Who can give

Anyone — parents, grandparents near and far, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and local businesses.

Tax deductions and employer matching

Carnage Arts Boosters is an IRS-recognized tax-exempt nonprofit, so your gift is tax-deductible and you'll receive an emailed receipt. If your employer matches charitable donations, let us know and we'll help complete the match.

When to give

Any time of year. It is never too late to support the arts departments at Carnage Magnet Middle School.
